I have been divorced for 7 years and my ex-spouse has only sent me medical bills once. Our children are adults, the youngest a junior in college. I moved recently out of state, and now my ex wants my address to send me bills "registered mail". I asked why my ex did not send them to me before I moved, and stated that the bills can be scanned and emailed. I do not feel good about giving my ex my new address because of my ex's controll issues. I have not heard a thing about medical bills in over three years, and now all of the sudden my ex wants payment. I am to receive half of my ex's retirement, and have stated that I am willing to give up what is necessary to cover what ever outstanding bills there are, but my ex will not even talk about it. Is there a time frame in which my ex has to submit me with the medical bills?
