Need to know if anyone knows the answer

I'm a male living in California. My soon to be ex and I were married for 16 years. Then we were divorced for 2 years. We then got re-married for 10 months. We simply could not work through the issues. My question is...in regards to spousal support, do I base it on the 16 years we were married? Or the 10 months we were married? At the first divorce, I had custody of the kids. The kids have said that they want to live with me, so I'm not needing child support. Does anyone have any answers for me???
