Hi All,
I have been separated for about a year and a half. We have a house and a daughter. We went to mediation and now she has an attorney. Just want to clarify certain things: The house is worth about $600 K, we owe about $200K. I am entitled to half of the equity about $200 K? Am i correct in that? She agreed not to go after my 401K and my investments, and offer me about $130 K, is that a fair deal? My 401 and investments, plus some Misc stuff like cars and furniture all add up to about 60-70 K, if I take that out of the 200 K that leaves 130 K. No Alimony either just child support.
I just want to get your opinion if this is a fair settlement, because her attorney seems pushing for it.
Thank you for your help,

Fair deal ? No . Why are you deducting the whole amount from the equity ? She'd only be entitled to half , meaning you'd get at least 165k .
