I live in Indianapolis, IN Hamilton County; would anyone know when I filed for divorce that is when the amount of the 401k stops correct? There is more in there at the moment. Hope anyone can help.

If that is the case, ask for a statemnt from the date you filed, or enough documentation to show amounts on that date, and if it is like that, just present them when needed.

In my case, the value of the 401K was set for the date of distribution NOT the date of divorce. If it had been set for the date of divorce my ex would have been entitled to around $50K. He hasn't done the QDRO yet (and I have no incentive to do it) but if he did it now, he would receive about $35K.
