Some satisfaction at least
      #595355 - 11/04/09 10:49 AM

To know my time on here is not wasted. I know that at least some males who were considering the idea of marriage ( at the urging of their current GF ) have had second thoughts after reading my postings. I know this because they have contacted me.....In addition, some females have contacted me wondering why I express so much rage and bitterness. So at least some people wonder how a person became so twisted, and want to understand the process involved.

As for the women who continue to crow about how I have to make payments every month, get real. I have FULL PHYSICAL CUSTODY OF MY SON WHO IS AUTISTIC. How many times do I have to say it ? I have visitation with my daughter. We have split custody so there is no CS. Alimony ended when she re-married. Ok ? Got it ? Any questions ? Geeeezzzz...

I have a question for you
if it bothers you so much that the laws are stacked in the woman’s favor then why complain about it here
why not right your congressman and start a petition
then you would be able to get men that would support it to sign
so you would have weight to support your cause

In our current political system this type of movement wouldn't stand a chance and I'm a pragmatic type of person. Being a politician nowadays means understanding the role of mass media. In the mass media today, you can say any rotten critical untrue thing you want about white males, and have zero reprucussions, plus mostly approval ratings. google mcmartin preschool abuse. You cannot easily critisize any minority, like blacks, women, asians, hispanics, etc....

Mostly white males pay alimony, so no one cares, the political agenda wouldn't get off the ground. In addition, women are 53% of the electorate, and they benefit. If a homer simpson type guy gets cheated by the legal system, no one cares. Think about the subject matter of most universities, women are the subjugated minority.

This agenda will never fly with the mainstream media. I only know of one sitcom that even acknowledges the existence of alimony. Most sitcoms portray the white male as an idiot. Those are the idiots who pay alimony.

I take it you are referring to 2 and a half men?

I agree with you because in the end it would not suit their agenda and in the end more then likely would never fly

Stop being so bloody critical. You are so bitter & bias.

I wouldn't dream of putting someone off getting married & having kids just because my marriage failed....each to their own & be there to support if that is the outcome.

Stop wingeing & get a life.

I'm speaking the truth about a biased system, how could it not sound bitter ?

So Heather McCartney was worth all those millions and millions of dollars ?

No, Heather McCartney was not worth all the money she got. I don't think it's fair that women walk away with most of the mans earnings just coz they were married to them.

But it's the system that is wrong, and most people take advantage of the "the system".

I think it's bloody ridiculous what most women walk away with, and it is an unfair & biais system, especially for short term marriages.

But you can't assume that everyone is the same, these mega rich people are almost an exception to the rule, as they have a standard of living which the court believes the ex should maintain & that's the world they live in with maids & nannys & private helicopters.

It's the normal person on the street that it affects mostly. We are not all the same. My ex has the house & the "nice" car, while I'm in a small 2 bedroom place with a 20yr old runaround for a car....but you know what....I'm happier, purely because I didn't love him & all the luxuries in the world wouldn't have kept me there, and as far as I'm concerned he can keep it all, because money isn't everything.
