Hi, I'm a mom of two children, 5 and 2 and my active duty Navy husband wants a divorce.
We've been married 7 yrs and I've been a stay-at-home mom for 5 yrs.
What state does he file in, CA or NV, and does he need his own lawyer to do that? I am seeing my own tomorrow.
Thanks, I appreciate your help in advance (just trying to get as many ??'s answered before I go into my initial consutation)

Assuming you (and more importantly your children) have lived in California for at least 6 months that is where you will divorce. WHere you married is irrelevant.
