Going after a lawyer

Has anyone ever gone after there lawyer legaly? Other hten retaining a new lawyer is there anything else you can do to go after them legally? I would love to make my lewyer for all the wrongs he has done to me. He has just made a big mess of my case and really want to make hime pay he never returnd my calls and has lied to me on so many levels its crazy.
