I have been seperated from my husband for the past seven months. He recently filed paperwork stating that our marriage broke up becsuse of my adultery. During the entire time I was with my husband I was never unfaithful. Since the separation however I have made a couple of mistakes, I have never slept with anyone but have been affectionate. I am just wondering if anyone has any insight into where I go from here. I am unsure of how this may affect any future custody arrangements. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

You should probably get some research done on everything, including affairs, will affect your custody arrangements. An excellent resource for self-represented people is centenniallawoffices.com/Pro%20Per.html You can get your legal issues researched and answers provided quickly, help with forms, etc. without actually having to hire attorney to represent you. Good luck.

are you legally seperated from your husband? well even if you are, if he wants to be that much of a pain yes he can get your on adultry. You need to talk to a lawyer, and go from there.

He has to have proof of adultery, unless you have already admitted it. Does he have proof of this???? Even if you have a man in your home, and he takes pics., he can try to get you on adultery. If this is proven, the divorce can go quickly.... So, if he has filed these papers, and you are not guilty, you need to stand up for yourself.
