Depends on the country and your state or whether the obligor is working for a US based company . Each state has reciprocal arrangements with other countries for enforcement . If all else fails you could try to initiate enforcement proceedings under the local law where he lives .

technically china is still considered emerging and it would take a lot of time to list all the emerging south american countries. sorry but that was rude

I would think it was one that was "emerging" from poverty or third world status into a mainstream country. Kinda like the difference between Afghanistan and France.

I don't feel comfortable responding to this poster. They have 2 threads going. One is how to prevent the child from seeing the other parent, and the other is how to enforce child support from another country.
