Lack of Progression?
      #703852 - 11/04/10 08:04 PM

My wife and I are getting divorced. She filed for it almost a year and a half ago. I now live in Michigan, She now lives in Ohio. The divorce was filed in Kentucky (We were both residents of Kentucky.)She moved to Ohio the day after filing. Having spoke with a family court clerk, I was told that I had to wait till my wife or her attorney filed a separation agreement before a court date would be given. Seeing as no progression has been made towards a court date of any kind, is there a time limit on how long a divorce case can sit basically in limbo?
