I was wondering if there are lawyers that specialize in alimony or spousal support? Another question is--- Is it better to get an atty from your home county(Douglas County Georgia) or it makes no difference where your atty is from. By looking around I've learned that to get an atty from outside my area cost more. I have a friend that works at the courthouse and she is advising me that its always better to hire and atty inside your home county. I'm prety sure my case will go before a judge so I think that's why my friend is giving me this advise. Anyone have any other information that might be helpful? If this info helps-I've been married for 25 yrs and no children. Husband wants to end the marriage (he is in love/lust with a married woman)

Yes, I think it's beneficial to hire a home town attorney in your county. Many offer free consultations, so meet with atleast a few before retaining one.
I'm also in Georgia, but not in Douglas County.
Good Luck!
