Let me first start off by saying hello and saying thank you to anyone who reads this.
I was married for less than one year, I live in California and I'm currently going through a divorce. We have and always had seperate financial bank accounts and separate debt ( credit cards, cars nothing was ever in joint name. Taxes our taxes were filled as married filing separately.
My question is this. I foolishly took out money out of my 401 k and used it. I'm embraced about it and i dont want her knowing that. Will i be required to share that as well as other financial information in court even if we had completely seperate finances and debts.
I don't want to be a luaghing stock to her.
Will I also be required to show my tax returns in court?
Thank you again to all who read this

Financial info on both parties is a normal part of the discovery process in a contested divorce. You'll be expected to show all financial stmts, including 401s, stocks, checking, paystubs, etc. If that's what you're embarassed about (at least I think thats what you meant to say), yes, she'll see yours, and you'll see hers.
The only way to avoid this is to come to an agreement between yourselves that doesn't require that exchange of info, and have that agreement signed off on by a judge.

You're required to file Income and Expense form FL150 which has a listing of accounts and balances, but not transactions. She can subpoena most any records in court. After less than a year with monies held in individual accounts, there's probably nothing to argue over. Just work out a settlement agreement with her and file it.
