Hello, ALL--
I would like to take advantage of this election to change the current law on taxing the child support and change it back as it was in the 80's or 90's.
PLEASE HELP to get maximum names that will support the party that would change this law.
Post any ideas that can help as well!

As you've been told, child support is NOT taxable to the recipient nor is it deductible to the payor.
Unless what you're seeking is to have the child support removed from a GROSS income figure, thereby reducing your taxable gross income? The recipient would then have to claim it as income -- is that your idea?
