Cyber Sex
      #758784 - 08/06/11 06:30 PM

Hi, I'm in NJ and my problem is I've found out that my wife has been, at the very least, having cyber sex with her ex boyfriend. I can't say with conviction that she has physically slept with him but my suspicions are high. I have print outs of her conversations. Is this grounds for adultery or am I barking up the wrong tree. Need help bad. Thanks

You need to check with the laws in your state for the adultery issue. I dont even think that matters anymore.

The more important issue is that she is "married" to you....having cyber sex with another man is a very strong sign of an unhealthy marriage.

Having been through a divorce myself...maybe not physical but its still emotional cheating...she should be having cybersex with you...not him...so its a form of cheating.

the energy she is putting into the relationship with him is time away from yours...I am very cynical now when it comes to this stuff...if you can't handle this...then commence divorce and move on...today there is NO reason to get married but when one does it should be a commitment on BOTH parts...she is devoting her time to someone else...so it might be time to let her go to him and you can move on to find someone or move on to a better place.

We only get one chance at life...be happy and be loved

this does not sound like it

sorry to sound so blunt but its a waste of time hanging on to someone who is cheating

Sounds like she is at least thinking about cheating, doesnt mean she has, get a PI and have her followed for a while and see if she is.

Internet adultery is not generally recognized as true adultery. Itbdoes have a real effect on the marriage however. Either you dee it as a harmless fling and let it run it's course, or file for divorce on no fault grounds. No need to prove adultery when you can get a divorce more simply.
