another custody question

is there a such thing as me only have joint PHYSICAL custody and she have Sole LEGAL custody?

ok but with joint custody can i claim my child on my taxes? i get her 2 months during summer and every holiday every even year.

You should be getting every other year. My daughters father only sees her a couple of hours a year ( he's a truck driver and lives in another state and is just not around) and he claims her in even years, I claim her in odd. He pays his CS faithfully so he does have every right to claim her.

Whoever claims them is whoever it says claims them in your divorce decree. It's something that is negotiable before the divorce is over and the final decree written. If you don't talk about it, expect the custodial parent to always get it.
