Question about my boyfriends divorce?

Ok I feel wierd since this isnt about me but my boyfriend but Im going threw it with him so maybe this will help me feel better. my boyfriend and his ex have been seperated almost a year and he has paid his lawyer off and everything in advance well she finally paid hers off yesterday and my boyfriends lawyer told him he should keep it low key that hes dateing even though she is too because he filed for divorce because she cheated on him and left him and the lawyer also said him and her might be monitored but im confused why would they be monitored instead of being granted their divorce already? And yes he does already have a copy of the original decree and we have just been waiting for her to pay her lawyer and they do have a child but they agreed on costudy already My divorce was diffrent because it wasnt over adultery so im just curious as to why they would be monitored. Help someone because of this mess me and him are on a break because hes affriad of me and my daughter getting drug into it and i miss the way things were and i know if i understood this more id feel better but thats all he could tell me.

It sounds like he's feeding you a line - unless there is a stipulation about cohabitation in his decree relating to custody.

Paying for your attorney has nothing to do with the actual decree.

You'd get more responses and better ones, if you'd use standard punctuation. Very hard to read without it.

Your already drug into it, get out of it til he gets his divorce done, duh. He is still married at this point no matter what hes telling you.
