Neither was the majority needed to PASS A BILL . A LARGER PERCENTAGE of GOPers voted in FAVOR , GET IT ?

Where's the blame for them ?

It WAS a "larger percentage" because there were fewer ACTUAL GOPers in the group.

But that is not the topic. The TOPIC was did the DEMOCRATS do anything wrong. So wouldn't ANY percentage of Democrats voting to extend the "Bush" tax cuts be "wrong", and thus worthy of your criticism?

I mean I KNOW the truth, just wondering if you have the COURAGE to admit it.

Why give a "senior" discount, they have had plenty of time to raise the money...

Far more Democrats voted AGAINST it .

Which they did OVERWHELMINGLY .

">>>>>>>>> 138 Republicans in the House voted for it , 139 Dems , 218 votes are REQUIRED for passage .

And what were the actual numbers in the SENATE? I BET you don't have the BALLS to post them. But aside from that, did the Democrats that voted FOR it do something wrong? Shouldn't THEY be criticized as well?

">>>>>>>>>>> It wasn't their idea , it WAS A CONDITION for the GOP to PASS THE BILL ."

But they VOTED for it, so they share the blame, right?

">>>>>>>>>>. The truth that the GOP wants to make them PERMANENT and each GOP candidate for President wants to cut taxes MORE"

And since the Dems control the Senate and the White House, and the House until this year, they have RAISED taxes, right? Or have then consistently extended the HORRIBLE Bush tax cuts?

And what were the actual numbers in the SENATE?

>>>>>>>>>> You'd be WRONG AGAIN .
44, with 60 ( thanks to Republicans ) needed to pass .
The percentage of Republicans as STILL higher .

But they VOTED for it, so they share the blame, right?

>>>>>>>>>>>> Nope . It wouldn't be in there unless the GOP insisted it be included , just like they INSIST they be made PERMANENT .

>>>>>>>>>>> According to moronic Tea Baggers taxes have never been higher .
Consistantly is once ?
BTW , why are you now against GW's tax cuts , you've ALWAYS said tax cuts RAISE REVENUE ?

Senate Republicans promised Wednesday to block legislative action on every issue being considered by the lame-duck Congress until the dispute over extending the Bush-era tax cuts is resolved and an extension of current government funding is approved.

All 42 Senate Republicans signed a letter to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, vowing to prevent a vote on "any legislative item until the Senate has acted to fund the government and we have prevented the tax increase that is currently awaiting all American taxpayers."

Of course not, because you don't think Democrats are responsible for ANYTHING. Personally, I hold people responsible for the choices they make, even in a compromise. If you vote FOR something, you are RESPONSIBLE for it.

"BTW , why are you now against GW's tax cuts , you've ALWAYS said tax cuts RAISE REVENUE ?"

I am NOT against them. I think they SHOULD be made permenant. It YOU who claims the Dems are against them, despite their CONSTANT re-instating of them.

Wow, so the Republicans are responsible for the Senate NOT passing a budget (their FVCKING JOB) for over 800 days? Nope, what they are responsible for it STOPPING the Dems in the Senate from ONCE AGAIN kicking the budgetary can down the street.

>>>>>>>>> Distraction .

As the GOP majorities form earlier this decade PROVED , a budget is WORTHLESS when you can use SUPPLIMENTAL SPENDING bills to EXCEED it .

Nope, what they are responsible for it STOPPING the Dems in the Senate from ONCE AGAIN kicking the budgetary can down the street.

>>>>>>>>> By what ? Insisting the administration make a decision on the Keystone XL pipeline by including it in a bill to cut taxes , fix the " doc fix " they created and extend unemployment benefits ?

Why are we still " kicking the can " on a " doc fix " the GOP passed over 10 years ago ?
