Hello, my friend has a girl in Missouri who is pregnant and claiming that he is the father. She has also told him that she is planning on getting married before the child is born. I heard that the child would then be considered a child of wedlock, is that correct?? And if that is correct, is there anything my friend can do to determine paternity?? Thank you so much. =)

Whoever is married to her at the time of birth is presumptively the father.
Paternity testing on a pregnant woman is possible, but invasive. Obviously the mother must consent.
