I was awarded the paid off jet ski in the divorce....Now 10 years later I have sold the jet ski and of course the title has both hers and mine name on it.... How do i go about getting the title notarized. Do my Ex and I both have to get in front of a notary at same time? ( i dont see this happening, and what if she was deceased? ). Divorce papers clearly state jet ski was awarded to me..
Thanks in advance

If the title transfer to the buyer requires notarized signatures of both parties on the title, then yes, she has to sign too. She must comply with the divorce agreement, which is an order of the court, and transfer her interest in the jet ski to you. There's no statute of limitations. So if she refuses, you can file a motion for contempt to compel her to transfer her interest to you. All time-consuming and expensive. When she is served with the conempt she may become cooperative, or risk having to pay attorney fees to you.
