It doesn't matter if the kid had a bag of dog sh!t, a thermos of larks vomit and a chocolate covered hairball. It is NOT the schools jobs to REPLACE a lunch from home and not only FORCE a school lunch on the child, but CHARGE the mom for it.

Maybe you should ignore Fauxnews and read the source article , it WAS an instance of an overzealous employee trying to make a point . The SUPERVISOR didn't see a problem with the provided lunch and said IT MET the guidelines .
Then again , who could complain about the FREE pre-school provided by TAX DOLLARS ?

If parents knew best in this country there wouldn't be an obesity problem with kids. Some parents know how to parent properly. Obviously a whole lot don't, or they wouldn't be creating a generation of future type 2 diabetic weebles. At least educators are....educated. Can't say that about the overwhelming majority of parents. But hey...it keeps me employed, so keep on churning out these fat sweathog children.
