Need advice- Southern California

I live in Orange County California, where my ex wife receives alimony for 4.5 years. Recently she moved in with her boyfriend where they both pay bills. Is she still entitled to alimony? She doesn't work, she takes care of our kids 60% of the time, and has a college degree and can get a job.

Please help

Prove it to the court. Can you? Can you get mail delivered to him at that address? Photos face book photos? Ask for a modification due to the fact she is living with a person who is helping lower her level of need. Ive been going thru a similar situation. Good luck!

If your decree says alimony ends upon cohabitation, and you have documented proof she's living with the bf, you can petition the court to end alimony.

Can you afford to hire a PI to prove the cohab? You'll need objective proof from an outside party (pictures, proof of residence, etc). Get the proof PRIOR to tipping your hand you're going to attempt to end alimony. Once she knows you're heading down that road she may get sneaky in an attempt to hold onto it.

I had the same issue and my decree said nothing about cohabitation. Turned out that they got married. She denied it, but trust me, facebook was not her friend in court lol. Either was her new last name or pregnant looking belly.

It's amazing how many lies women will tell to cover up other lies. All for the sake of taking your money.
