Well, we are in the USA. Still have a long travel day ahead of us, but at least we're on American soil and can have an iced Diet Pepsi!!! It's the little things!
Trip to Indonesia was a wonderful adventure. 3 weeks was too long though, we did get a bit homesick.
Went to three temples. Elephant Cave in Bali (Budist), Prambanan in Java (Hindu), and Borobudur in Java (Budist). Amazing. Beautiful. Magnificent.
Went to Monkey Forest in Bali, picture a billion monkeys, some jumping on you!!! Rode an Elephant, walked under the sea, went to Turtle Island, held turtles and a huge snake, had a fish pedicure, drank Luwak, had 2 massages, swam in the ocean....and got a horrible sunburn. Ouch!
Went to a traditional wedding and had to wear Batik. So, so beautiful, like royalty! Toured the Sulton's property, seen volcanoes, and took a "bucket shower" at a B & B.
Ate good food, nasty food and had a lot of laughs!!! Saw crazy things like a family of 4 on a small motorcycle, leagally!!! Saw beautiful places and total poverty. squated to pee at times and sometimes went without toilet paper, only a squirter!!
Made wonderful new friends who I already miss.
Will post pictures as soon as I get over jet lag, see my grand babies, kids and dogs!!!

A fish pedicure is putting your feet in a tank with a million little fish, they nib me on your feet, eating they dead skin!!!
Lusak coffee is made from coffee beans eaten and the. Pooped from a mongoose!!!! It's extremely expensive as the mongoose will only eat the best beans.lol

I think I just fainted. So the mongoose eats the best beans, then poops them out (the bean itself?) and you take those beans and make coffee??? And it's expensive too?!! In the words of Joey Russo from Blossom....WHOA

Glad that you enjoyed your wonderful vacation. Don't think I would be brave enough to try that coffee. LOL BTW, who would of thought to prepare a drink from that.

Wasn't it on the movie the Bucket List? (the coffee)... I think that is what Jack N, drank.. LOL!! I remember Morgan Freeman looked it up... I laughed till I cried at that... and you DRANK IT!! ROCK ON!!
I want a fish pedicure... that actually sounds wonderful...
So glad you had a great time!!! Glad you made it back to US soil safely and happy trials home my friend!

Just ate at In 'N Out Burger!!! Took a picture and saved the receipt to scrapbook. I want to remember the moment!!! Now on our 3.5 hour drive home, sure don't want to see another airplane for a while. 40 hours each way.

You DO realize the "In & Out" is not in reference to the service they provide, but of the speed of the trip the burger makes through your digestive tract, right?

Sounds awesome! I get homesick anything after a week :) Happy for you- sounds like you guys had a time you will never forget!
