Removing name from Title

We are planning to file on our own as we have no children or assets. My husband has a lot of CC debt and is planning on filing bankruptcy. We have a 2010 Honda with both our names on it. How do I get my name removed from that title? We live in NH.

He would have to refi the vehicle into his name only. If he lets the vehicle get repo'd and adds it to his BK, the creditor will come after you for the remaining balance, repo costs, and fees.

FYI- Nothing you put into the divorce decree will relieve you of the debt to the creditor. So even if he agrees to take on the debt, once he declares BK, the creditor will go after the next name on the contract. The bank wants their money, and the family court has no jurisdiction to stop them from getting it.
