If BM is a SAHM will they use anything for her income portion or will it just be left at $0. She use to work but no longer does.

I think most states would input her income to what she last made because she is capable of making at least that much. Did she leave her last job of her own free will or was she laid off, fired?

My ex wife was imputed minimum wage, she had no work history.

Actually we came out better leaving bm at 0, than putting in wages. The more she makes the more they expect you to throw in. Have you run the #'s both ways?

In MT, they impute minimum wage OR if she earned less than minimum wage X 2080 hours in the previous year, they imputed her actual earnings plus the EIC.

I think it is a very state specific issue.

She worked when they first separated till about a year after the divorce about five different jobs. She would stay at them for like 3 months. She left everytime. All of her kids are in school and she keeps saying she is going to get a job but maybe she hasn't been able to find anything, i don't know.

We did. It made a difference of around $100 or so. Not a huge difference.

For a 100.00 I would go for it...that is money you can put toward travel. Just remember, if it is still the same, been a few years, but Mo. will only redo CS every three years. Now that could only be with CSE, and not the private sector?

All my dealings have been with CSE.

Well either way we are adding child support to the new order because DH needs to pay it. I just didn't knwo what they would do because back when she was actually getting child support while they were separated she had a job.

I don't know how they do it in MO, but they impute minimum wage in FL.
