I'm in ATL this week for a training class and one of my coworkers attending with me is from the Irving area. He got a txt from his wife this afternoon saying she got caught in the horrible weather and had to pull off the road and take shelter. Stuff flying all over and baseball size hail. He couldn't get ahold of her for awhile after that text but she finally called towards the end of the day. Scared the crap out of him.

I called my mom all afternoon yesterday - she's visiting my brother & his wife this week in Dallas. My sister in law is having her baby today. They are all good - the tornadoes went on either side of them. They said the damage, though, is just unreal.

Had the sirens going off in downtown FW. Came pretty close to my house, about 12 miles away. Hit pretty hard in Lancaster and Forney. We have offices in both, in fact one of our employees from Lancaster posted some video of the tornado tracking behind our campus. We are all fine, no damage at our house. Pretty scary though. Spring in Texas!

I'm in the Arlington area and was right in the middle of it. We are so fortunate that our house is undamaged, but literally the people across the street lost their roofs and just a block behind us have destroyed homes.
