The fact that he was face down, after having been shot in the chest, IMO, prove he HAD to have been on top on Zimmerman when he was shot. If Zimmerman had been on top of him when he shot, they ground would have absorbed the recoil and the body would have remained there on his back. NO WAY to sit on someone's chest, shoot them in the chest, and have them flip over from the shot.

---> Depends. If you have a dead body on top of you, you are either going to push, or lift and scoot. If you push, and it wouldn't be straight up...body would more than likely roll onto it's back. If you lift and scoot...then the body would end up face down.

Well, you are assuming one shot, instant death, and that the initial position before the shot was parallel with the shooter. When if someone is beating someone else, the body is more at an angle, and a shot will push them back and away, and the victim of the shot will stagger away.
Also, the blood spatter will go out the back with the bullet.
Had Zimmerman been ON TOP of Martin, the body stays laying on its back. So from the FACTS, the body was found face down, Zimmerman would have had to shoot the kid, then flipped the body over. Also, had that happen, the force would have been absorbed by the ground, and the back splatter of blood would have COVERED Zimmerman. Then, as the blood continued to pour out, Zimmerman flipping the body over would have spread blood on him and on the ground.
I feel for the Martin's, I really do, but it appears that the evidence points to it occuring as Zimmerman reported. What bugs me the most is that we HAVE some evidence, but the Zimmerman detractors as INSISTING that we ignore the gashes on his head, the grass stains on his back, the broken nose, and instead depend on evidence that HASN'T been released, but they are SURE is coming. Its like the entire logic system has completely fallen apart.

They got it blocked here at work under "pending", which means they haven't reviewed it yet, but I will probably donate.

---> Well...I think that it is safe to assume that only one shot was fired as that was all that was reported. I think that it is reasonable safe to assume that death was instantaneous given that the police arrived shortly thereafter and Martin was dead. As for my 'initial position', YOU are the one that said Martin was on top of Zimmerman when he was shot. A 9mm, fired at point blank range...victim is probably not going to stagger away.
Also, the blood spatter will go out the back with the bullet.
---> This doesn't make a lot of sense in light of what you posted afterwards.

---> If Zimmerman attacked Martin, then were are the marks on Martin's body? Even though he died shortly thereafter and thus any bruises would not have had time to show, there would still be subcutaneous bruising that would show up in an autopsy.
Its like the entire logic system has completely fallen apart.
---> And you find that surprising? Some of the most uh...intense 'discussions' that have taken place here are because people allow their emotions, prejudices and beliefs or non-beliefs to override simple logic.

"---> This doesn't make a lot of sense in light of what you posted afterwards."
Perhaps I wasn't clear. Picture shooting at a piece of plywood, with nothing behind it. The bullet hits the plywood, and the splinters go out the back, with the bullet. This is where the blood splatter would go.
Now take the same piece of plywood, and place it against a steel wall and shoot it. The bullet will hit the plywood and PERHAPS stop at the steel wall, the wood splinters will come back at you, along with the bullet. So will the blood splatter if it is a person instead of a piece of wood.
So, essentially, with Martin on top, beating Zimmerman, he shoots, that explains a lack of heavy blood on him. Now, were ZIMMERMAN on top of Martin, and shot him, the dirt would slow down the bullet, and the blood splatter would be outward onto Zimmerman, as the force would "bounce" off the dirt and while less than the initial force, would still have some velocity.

Well, there is VIDEO proof of the gash on his head.
>>>>>>>>> Which proves he had a gash on his head , not that he was telling the truth about how he GOT IT .
Well, no. We have the police report about the grass stains, the eyewitness that reports a person was on the ground with a red shirt while another was on top of him, and there is the VIDEO proof of the gash on Zimmerman's head. I am willing to read/listen to any other proof, there just doesn't seem to BE any.
>>>>>>>>> And yet they DIDN'T contact the girlfriend Trayvon was on the phone with , DIDN'T listen to ALL the witnesses and tagged Trayvon as a " John Doe " even though he had a WALLET and a CELL PHONE .
Sanford Police Chief on a leave of absence , new DA looking at the evidence , Justice Department investigating . Sounds open & shut .
Funny which "evidence" you choose to agree with . Josh Powell innnocent , Trayvon sucker punched poor George Zimmerman for no apparent reason and needed to be shot dead .
-------------------- Careful. We don't want to learn from this.

Hopefully the coroners report will be enlightening (I wonder if Dr. G is doing it??).
Based on the information available at this time - it sounds like George Zimmerman should at least be charged. An affirmative defense should be judged by a jury in this heated a case, not a prosecutor.
IMO - based on the evidence and what I believe is normal human behavior - it sounds like Zimmerman confronted the kid about being in the neighborhood (which he had every right to do), the kid tried to leave (which he had every right to do), Zimmerman tried to stop him until the police arrived (not so right, but understandable), kid fought back (which he had every right to do), and Zimmerman shot him. But that is purely speculation on an anonymous internet board.
I am big on the 2nd amendment and CCL licenses, but this is a prime example of why police AREN'T.
As to the white/latino thing, I am guessing it is because his name - Zimmerman - does not sound hispanic, but clearly he appears to be.

Good summary. You may be speculating, but it sure sounds logical.
