Say what you want, I GOT custody of MY kids...and I didn't even have to involve them in the custody fight.

This, unfortunately is the byproduct of living in a backwoods state like Mississippi, where the average IQ of most teachers is 46.

So predictable. When someone makes a valid point about your incompetence, you bring up something totally unrelated to the subject at issue to deflect any blame from you.

Yes, this is so unfortunate for Gr8. He is the only one in the state who has a normal IQ. Poor Gr8, why does he have to deal with those stupid teachers and principals?
Spinner, you of course are living in a superior state because you are so superior that you wouldn't choose to live in a state that was not superior (Canada?).

Ever wonder why Mississippi is consistently at the bottom of educational standards in the USA year after year? The only consistent is the teachers. I'm sure it is frustrating for gr8dad having to deal with the embedded incompetence that is institutionalized in the school system within that state.

A valid point? LMAO, she ASSUMED I was belligerent to the receptionist, she assumed I treat people in a certain way, and ALL based on the FACT that she has me on ignore and doesn't READ what I wrote. Sounds to me like she was educated either in Mississippi, or by YOU.

Oh, I see my sons frustration, and yes,m they are dumb as a box of rocks here. We lived on an ISLAND, in other words, a land mass surrounded by water. Now, the island WAS a pennisula, and the COE cut it off, made it an island. SO they are learning about different land masses, and he pipes up that we live on and island. Teacher says there ARE no islands here. So he shows her on a FRICKING MAP, where the island is (for the record, it is CALLED the island, that is its NAME, real orifinal, huh?), points out that is it a land mass, surrounded on all sides by water. She says, "Well, if you want to call that an ISLAND, I guess so..."
This is the GEOGRAPHY TEACHER.

Yikes, the island story.. That's pathetic :-(. Of course I say this coming from a state named "Island" but it is NOT an island, and where EVERYONE says Newport IS an island however it is NOT an island., so go figure.

Unless it was a life or death matter, the school was right to follow their rules. YOU broke all kinds of rules and are now upset that the principal enforced the rules. If I were the principal, you would not have talked to your kid until AFTER school. The rules apply, even for you.

Cell phone use isn't allowed in school. RIght?
Unless it is a life or death emergency, generally kids can go without speaking to their parents during school hours.
Don't schools have the responsibilty to teach our kids? Imagine if all of the parents decided they needed to speak to their kids RIGHT NOW. How much teaching would get done and how much time would be spent pulling kids out of class?
