I am frustrated at a situation that dcss put me in to a point beyond anger and depression, to a point that I might flip. If after you read this, you agree that dcss is wrong or unfair and you have/had similar situation, and you live in California, please contact me to sue dcss.
I filer for a divorce 7 months ago. Within a range of 2 Weeks before or 2 Weeks after, my wife filed for child support with dcss and have false information about my income and said that I have zero custody time. Within the next 7 months, I got temporary custody and the judge was still in the process of determine final custody, final child support, and final spousal support as of the date of this posting. However, I have received 2 or 3 letters from that dcss that I have not responded to, because I logically thought that since everything is still in litigation in family court, dcss can't make a decision. I further logically thought that sooner or later they will find out that I have a case, since I believed in the effectiveness of the system, and will stop mailing me. Finally, I received a letter from dcss with a default judgment against me. Not only the judgment is based on false income and custody time, but also it is not signed by a judge; signed by a judicial officer. The part that I find ironic and frustrating is that dcss obtained the judgment from the same court house where I have my case, but from judges who work on a different floor who only deal with dcss cases, and the court judgment papers have the same case number as the case number of my case that is still pending the judge's decision!!!!!!!!! How no system or no one with half brain couldn't see that I have a pending case in the same building and for the same issue. Now, I have to pay 5500 dollars to file a motion to set it aside and I won't have money to pay my attorney to continue my original case.

I believe California DSSS is immune to prosecution. Since they appear to have acted in good faith and you didn't respond, it's your fault anyway.
