Steven Spielberg and Amy Irving Actress Amy Irving and mega-director Steven Spielberg may have signed a pre-nuptial agreement back when they married in 1985, but the document didn’t hold up in court since Irving didn’t have her own legal representation at the time she signed. That little misstep cost Spielberg $100 million when the two split four years later after having one child together.
Of course, the idea that a woman could abide by a contract she signed, even if she didn't have a lawyer, is out of the question. NO WOMAN will ever pass up free money, especially if its a man's money.

You do realize you are talking about something that happened over two decades ago.
Since you have no idea how much he made during the marriage and what she may or may not have given up in the prenup - maybe she did abide by the contract she signed but there were extenuating circumstances - like having a child. Maybe he said he wouldn't cheat and did or that he wouldn't leave her high and dry and then tried? You just don't know. Not to mention the site I read this article on is not exactly known for its "complete" truthfulness.....
FTR I do not agree with alimony unless it is to get a parent (male or female) who stayed home with the children (agreed to by both that one would stay home with the children) into the work force with a time period of 2 years maximum.
