I considered taking a vacation there myself this summer. I know that Diners, Drive Ins and Dives have hit a few places in that area so I would definitely check out those. I am a HUGE pizza lover and loved the episode and the looks of the Pizza at Pizzeria Luigi. Looks like there are two locations in the area :)

They are japalenos filled with cream cheese mix and a yellow cheddar center, deep fried. Awesome. The menu did advertise iguana meat on February 30 and 31st, LOL.

It's been 30 years since I was in the San Diego area (I was staying in Escondido), but I remember making a day trip to Tijuana.
