Well, show where he was NOT truthful. They DID NOT ASK HIM ABOUT THE MONEY IN THE ACCOUNT. Do you understand that? The ONLY person they ask about the account was his WIFE, who stated she did NOT know how much was in there, and that his BROTHER controlled the account.
So, HOW HARD would it have been to say, "Okay, when the brother gives us an accounting of the funds, we will set bond." SIMPLE. They did not DO that, they set the bond, put on the anklet, and let him out on bail.
What I REALLY do not get is why this is back in court. I mean I would understand if he was interdicted at an AIRPORT, or a TRAIN station, trying to leave the country. I would even understand it if a NEIGHBOR called and said he was packing the car with all his stuff, the accounts had been drained, etc. But NONE of that occured. NOTHING to indicate he is a flight risk happened. They just found out that he MIGHT have had more money that he said. They HAVEN'T proven he even KNEW how much was in there.
What you people seem to be forgetting is that when he is asked about, and fills out paper for the bond hearing, he is not sitting at his home computer, with his checkbook, IRA accounts, etc. He is in a CELL. He has NO ACCESS to ANYTHING.
Tell you what, lets TEST it, and I am willing to TRUST you. Without ANY online acces, and NO purse/checkbook/wallet, etc, can you HONESTLY say EXACTLY what your networth is RIGHT NOW? Not asking you to TELL me, just asking you to be honest with yourself, without having access to your fionancials, do you KNOW, for a FACT, exactly what is in ALL of your accounts, to the penny?

And your proof is? Simply provide proof of the ACTUAL amount, and where he lied about it, and I will agree. But you are NOT basing your statements on FACTS, you are basing it on what you HEARD.

Shockingly, Mr. Zimmerman’s lawyers have admitted their client was less than truthful about his finances. “While Mr. Zimmerman acknowledges that he allowed his financial situation to be misstated in court, the defense will emphasize that in all other regards, Mr. Zimmerman has been forthright and cooperative,” said Mark O’Mara, a lawyer for Mr. Zimmerman.
Zimmerman failed to disclose that he'd raised about $135,000 via a website before his bond was set. In April, Mr. Zimmerman and his wife testified that they didn't have a lot of money or assets.
And so it's clearly an indication there is $155,000 at that time, and they're discussing this. And this is back around on the 12th of May. This is more than a week before the hearing. And they had several conversations, a couple of them took place in the credit union when George Zimmerman's wife, Shelly, is actually accessing the account.
This was BEFORE he filled out his fin AF.... Liar

Okay, so there is 155K, and she takes out TEN (assuming we are decoding the message), leaving 145K. So the prosecutor, who is claiming the money was not claimed, and thus privy to the bank records, says it was $135,000. So since the figures don't match, is it possible they were talking about something different?

I did, his wife CLEARLY states that the brother in law is in control of the account, and she has no idea how much is in it.

Bottom line, it was a LEGAL DEFENSE FUND, and thus whether or not it could be used as BAIL is in question. But the PROSECUTION wants the money. Why? Because they have a WEAK case, and their ONLY hope is that he can't afford to hire a decent attorney to FIGHT it.

Well, the prosecutor is SUPPOSED to try and keep him in jail, and the judge ordered a HEARING. That means the judge is not SURE. As for HIS lawyer, nope, ALL he has said was that the JUDGE thought Zimmerman "mislead" the court.

No, they were discussing A balance. The FINAL number they used on the "coded" conversation was 155. What account has 155 in it? The PayPal account had 135K in it. So what had 155 in it?

Well, the JUDGE said that the passport issue was moot and actually a non-issue. The supposed coded conversation will need to be linked to ACTUAL amounts in the ACTUAL PayPal account. Not an easy task. But a walk in the park when compared to proving murder two.

Really? So the FACT that Martin has an abrasion on his hand, and Zimmerman had a broken nose doesn't matter? That there is a WITNESS that saw Martin on top of Zimmerman doesn't matter? That Martin's girlfriend TESTIFIED that she HEARD Martin make the approach to Zimmerman and speak to him first? That Martin has NO other marks on him (negating the idea that Zimmerman tried to "detain" him first) is not relevent?
Of course, there MAY be evidence that we haven't seen yet, but we cannot judge something we do not know about.
