My son and his wife have been married for 2 years. He was recently deployed to Afghanistan. After he had been deployed for about 2 months his wife started threatening divorce for no reason. They have 2 beautiful children that she ignores. They are not well taken care of. She has POA and is spending all of his check as soon as it comes in. But continues to tell everyone they are separated and getting a divorce. What are his options for revoking POA from where he is and stopping her access to his full pay. What chance does he have to gain custody of the children? Thanks for any answers!!

He must revoke the POA in writing (and notarized I believe) wherever he is should have some JAG people to help him with that. He must send the revocation to any place she would use the POA. But unless he removes her from their joint account - she'll still be able to access his pay.
Honestly - if he starts this things could get ugly and he's a world away with more important things on his mind. I would just accept she is going to spend the money and wait until I got back to deal with it.
If there are serious legitimate concerns about the welfare of the children I would be calling CPS not the deployed service member. Its hard enough to be that far away but to be worried about your kids is worse.
It is hard to judge custody issues - but assuming she has been the primary caregiver and has been successful at it (no abuse/neglect issues) it will be hard for him to get custody.
