I filed for divorce already and it is proceeding by default. I just need to make a few corrections to the paperwork and it will go through as a default. During this my wife has filed for divorce in North Dakota. I am curious as to if she can do this. Divorces go through much quicker in North Dakota than in California and the paperwork is simpler so her divorce may go through before mine, but I filed months before she did. I sent a letter to the judge in North Dakota with a copy of my paperwork so he will be aware of what's going on. Any info would help. I just need to know if she can do this.
