just made an appointment with divorce attorney, ..

having mixed emotions, somewhat releived and sad, hurt and angry, definately on a rollercoaster. Needing to vent, my husband of 27 years cheated on me with a girl that worked for him, she's now 28 and he's 47. He cheated on me for 2 years, (he says) she says 6 years. We bought a business a year ago and two months into it I found out that he's been cheating. He says he stopped the affair before we opened the business, but I don't believe anything he says anymore. So it's been about 9 months that we have tried to put the marriage back together, or should I say that I tried. In all this time the girl has been texting, calling etc. She has been to my business and caused trouble and she went to my house and confronted my 16 yr. old daughter and me. She's a crazy person..So I moved out with my daughter and this is where I am now. It's very lonely, I miss him sometimes cause he was my best friend... But the man he is now is not the man I married. I'm sure other people can relate to my story. Just wanting to vent...

Have you tried counciling with your husband? If there is a willingness on both sides to make attempts to save the marriage, it may be something worth doing.

Im not sure if cheating can ever be overcome but is it the symptom of a bad marriage or the end of one. Just some thoughts to consider.
