I always feel safe since I"m quicker than the Flash, stronger than Superman, can use mental telepathy on criminals like Professor X, and disarm them or get them to shoot themselves.

You asked if Gecko believed that the things she has mentioned were likely to happen. Considering they already have happened, what makes you believe they won't again. Maybe ignorance is the wrong word... naivete?
Just because you and spinner are not in fear, does not mean everyone has that same privilege. There are people who live in fear on a daily basis, and not because guns exist or people own them, but because there are people who will harm others, whether it is with a gun or not. It is the last measure of protection from evil, whether that is a criminal, the government, or whatever else chooses to rear its ugly head.

If you believe our government has become "tyrannical" can you give me some examples of that tyranny?
This "fear" you speak of--Is it a general fear of weirdos like Holmes or is it a fear of the government?
