The only thing that makes it super cheap is the miles. I just checked on line and that's the correct price range. I found them from 12,800 to 14,995 but with anywhere from 28k to 34k miles. The 18k they had originally advertised would have been WAY too high.

They are likely to make a lot of money off her trade in also so that counts for something.

I would say what you paid for it was a good deal. I looked it up at trade in was at $11,600 and private party was at $13,900. Which means I would have tried to get it for $12,800. The $18k it was originally set for was ridiculously high.

It really depends how much the dealership has put into the car they are trying to sell and how much value they are getting from your trade in.
