moving case to another county

Does anyone know if it is possible to move a case to another county.

Here is the skinny; we used to live in King County... My ex has moved to a different state with the children and I live 2 hours away from King County. I'd like to move the case to where I live now. There is a pending evidentuary hearing but the drive back n forth is killing me financially.

Usually if a case moves it moves to where the kids live. I believe the original venue has to agree to the change though.

If one parent lives in the original county where the case was heard, the case generally remains in that county unless a Motion is filed that the forum is improper because evidence in the case can be best found elsewhere - generally known as "Forum Non Conveniens" - in legal parlance.
