Final decree came n judge ordered marital home sold. She resides there, and makes mortgage payment but at time of sale my half of monthly mortgage will be subtracted from my share of equity?! Sucks but whatever...she tried deflating value of home at trial to avoid having to pay me any portion of equity but now that it's ordered sold she's bent on commanding top dollar!!! As a result house is gonna sit on market indefinately im afraid, while I continue to be resp for half the mortgage yet unable to live there! I cannot get another home loan while I'm tied uP on this loan so I was wondering if I could request a time limit be put on sale of house post final decree???? I realize that will ultimately require dropping asking price hence less equity but I'm unable to start fresh or secure a permanent home until it sells!!!! Very frustrating!!!! Divorce SUCKS

You have to look at the exact language in the decree. Ordered sold means it must be sold as soon as possible even by taking the first lowball offer. The price must be lowered aggressively. There's no time limit needed because the price will drop until you find a buyer or the asking price is zero. IF there is other language, you'll have to share it to get an opinion.
