My boyfriend received the 'answer' counterclaim papers to his divorce complaint. His lawyer has been withdrawled herself from the case. What happens now? Does the court automatically set up a date for a hearing or does my boyfriend the plantiff have to request to set it up?

His lawyer has withdrawn.
It's your bf's play next. He needs to check with the court about what he needs to do next to move this along. If he's going to do this pro se, he should get down to the courthouse and see what info is available there.

My spouse tried to pro se on the fact that is lawyer is not able to practice. Now this gets really stupid here. Spouse lied to his lawyer about property and wanted a no fault divorce.
I received papers and i sent an answer and papers about the property to the courthouse.
When the lawyer became unable to practice the spouse thought he could become pro se. spouse set a date
I showed up to court with my own final decree and asked for an hearing only to be tolded by the judges clerk he had to contact his attorney and he could not act on his own. and i was motion to set.
I did not motion to set that date for a few reason. spouse started to argue with the clerk in the courtroom and then after we left the courtroom i was directed to a staff attorney before i could set a date. spouse was there and then he tried to bargin with me but i would not because he always lies about everything. so i walked away. he threaten me with using my adult son to testify against me.
I walked away then spoke to the clerk and said he is trying to have me sign the decree in front of the staff attorney. the clerk says to me...that will be inpossible i am the staff attorney.
well i got the heck out of the courthouse.
i am currently looking to go back with my divorce cree but now with a fault divorce and evidences with property.
Yes i have gather evidences on spouse abuse which is only an incident report, a resident report from a former DV shelther and several homeless letters so i could use public services. evidences that he was living a nice life and that he also committed fraud on community property.
Could this divorce be done on its own?
