ending child support

does anyone in virginia have any experience with the end of child support? my son graduates in june and virginia dcs has told me that i need to do nothing to end child support it will automatically end and that my sons mother will receive paperwork to fill out which will then trigger paperwork to my employee to end the deduction...sorry but i dont trust dcs and i am trying to find out from anyone in virginia who may know if this is the case thanks

Yeah, I am with you on this one, seems like it is up to the person RECIEVING the money to fill out the papers to STOP it, and that sounds like a conflict of interest, LOL. I would talk to an attorney.

I would NEVER EVER go with what DCS says, just because they are not looking out for you. Sorry I have no personal experience with Virginia.
