I was served on November 5...but I just learned that the complaint for divorce was filed on SEPTEMBER 28. Doesn't that seem like a long time between filing the complaint and service? My H knew where I was living, so it's not as if I was difficult to locate.

---> Depends. Could have lost the paperwork, could have changed his mind, could have just been lazy. Doesn't really matter...the "clock" doesn't start until you are served.
