NEW ORLEANS - An Amber Alert originating out of Natchitoches has been issued for the entire state of Louisiana. Investigators say as of 5 p.m. Monday, Betty Garrett, 44, had not returned her son, Schidee Carries, 7, to the child's father, who has custody. Investigators say Garrett told a reliable source that she would kill the boy and commit suicide rather than return him. Garrett is described as a black woman about 5 feet 3 inches tall and 115 pounds. Garrett is believed to be traveling in a 2003 gold Dodge Durango with California license plate 5BAW901.

Hugs to all you who lit your candles and prayed, little Schindee's mother turned up out of the blue and turned him over to his daddy. Schindee is just fine, and tho his mother was booked, she will get the help she needs.
