Hi all. This is my first post here. I am hoping I am posting this in the correct forum. I had a question, and was hoping someone could help. My stbx and I went to court in June, and I was awarded sole physical custody to my son, and my stbx was ordered to take a anger management evaluation and complete everything they suggested. Well, he was ordered to 12 weeks anger management after the evaluation. I was to look over some things to make sure everything was correct as far as his violence, etc. Well he left out some information. It had nothing to do w/ his temper, etc. He intentionally neglected to tell the evaluator he has a older brother. This may not seem important to you, but it is. His brother was convicted of felony murder to his own son who was 14 months old. He did prison time, and my stbx lives right dwon the street from him, and they hang out all the time, so there was no way that he has written him off or doesn't communicate w/ him. He also lied about his work history.
What are the consequences of him lying intentionally in a court ordered anger management evaluation?

Who told you to look over everything to make sure it was correct? I would tell that person. If they do a background check they can verify the truth.
I would say he failed to cooperate with the evaluation. The judge should be notified in some way.

My lawyer sent me the documentation. I have given him all the documentation regarding the information left out. I am assuming that they are doing the necessary research to present to the judge.
I am currently just waiting for a answer back from my lawyer.
I guess I just wanted to see if there were more circumstances to lying in the evaluation then his character.
Thanks for your reply.

I would suggest meeting with your lawyer and breaking down any reports or affidavits before a court hearing. Lawyers litigate it. You live it. Often that means you have much to offer they may not see.

I know that I can know a file insuide out. Yet--I did not live it. Things can be missed without communication
