After talking to Moi for a bit about our kids, feelings of abandonment, pain for their losses, guilt for prolonging it.....it's left me feeling a little "deep," I guess...not to mention that DH is gone for the weekend. There are lots of songs that I love. Many that express what I'm thinking or feeling. There's a musical theater production called Rent (for our non-artsy people) that contains a song called "Seasons of Love." It's really beautiful and very profound. It also happens to be applicable out of context.....one of my favorite characteristics of good musical theater.....
These are some of the lyrics....forgive my poetic license, but I don't think the chorus lines are necessary....lol. I don't know why I'm sharing this....other than...because I can.

Very sad but very true. Very nice post.
I just told my daughter a few days ago not to be sad about Daddy. She has a mom, stepmom, stepdad, stepbrother, half brother, half sister, step sister, two brothers, oodles of granparents, etc that love her very much. She is blessed with a large family and MANY people who love her. Why stress over the ONE who keeps dropping the ball?
