I have just recently started talking to a guy that I have known for along time. At this point all it is is talking, no dates, we rarely see each other (both of us are leary of relationships after our divorces and are both fighting custody so are taking things slow). But we do want to take it further eventually. Right now we are trying to decide if we need to wait until after my custody agreement is made to really take things any further? Will me seeing someone effect the amount of visitation my X gets? Mind you he is the one that has skipped his last 3 visitations. What precautions should we take? Or should we just wait until the "coast is clear" so to speak? We already have to be careful...no overnight stays etc. because of him...he has temporary full custody of his child and is trying to get permanent. Any advice would be very helpful! Thanks

Dating should not affect custody, but waiting until your custody agreement is final and the "coast is clear" is a prudent strategy.
