My husband and I have only been married for 1 year, but lived to together for 3 years. The 1st two years I worked more than him and made more than him until right after my son was born Feb.'06. Last year we made the same amt. He is a poor money manager and so all of our credit accounts have been in my name because of his bad credit. If we get a divorce, am I going to be the one stuck with all this debt? We don't own a home together but I do have a piece of property in my name that my mother gave me before I met my husband.

If it was debt you incurred while you were married, it should be considered a marital debt, even if just in your name, I believe.

If you live in FL, the primary breadwinner will most likely get stuck with it..
Unless it's you, then expect a 50-50 split.
