Has anyone else heard that new country song by Tim McGraw? It's supposed to be a "funny" song I think, but to me it was just sad. It's about a man who is working a second job at a fastfood place just to afford his CS payment and gets stuck serving his XW's new husband. I don't know, but it just struck me wrong. I don't think men getting pushed out of their children's lives is anything to joke about or maybe I just took the song wrong..don't know. Anyone else heard it? Input?

I heard it when I was in Houston and I was sad. But it seemed to me like it was supposed to be sad and not funny.
I don't listen to enough country music to know what other people think, though.

The Toby Keith one is even worse, "The park is full of Sunday father's, melted ice cream"
ith lines like "Maybe I could babysit sometime"...

I didn't think it was supposed to be "funny." I got more of a sarcastic/fed-up vibe from it. Ummm...sort of a 'kiss my arse' kind of song.

I had to laugh at the song because if I don't I WILL cry. I have lived the song but life is golden now.
