Man! Can't ya pick a place that doesn't empty my wallet? I love Vegas, but learned long ago to only take what I can afford to lose...cause I'll lose it. LOL

AH... I could do with going to Mountaineer.... that is much closer to Ohio. Not as much fun though.

Mountaineer? You mean WV, or are you referring to some specific place called that?

If you want a nice resort in WV, try the Greenbrier. Course, I KNOW it's outta my price range.

Olgebay Park is up in northern WV. Never been there. But my old company used to host meetings at the Greenbrier. I believe a room there could run you like $500 a night.

If you want Vegas though, you could always join us in the Kanawha Valley. Tri-State Greyhound Park and Gaming Casino just got the vote passed for table games. They're going to be building a huge resort. But I never got hooked on table games. The slots were always my downfall. My aunt had me go out to Tri-State with her one night and I took $60 from my purse and left my purse at the house. Like the gals on my trips to Vegas...she wanted to know why. I explained that it's so I'll have a home to come back to. LOL

W V... I have family members that have been there, to the casino. Everyone in OH knows if one says Mountaineer that we are talking about a gambling casino. We have no casinos or gambling boats in OH and Mountaineer is closest to my hometown area of NE OH. I could head for the boats in SE IN... but I heard that Mountaineer has more of the casino atmosphere.

I know AEP also has a power plant called Mountaineer... I am NOT talking about that one.
