I have supervised visits with my children, one 11 and other 7. I have to take parenting classes for a period requested by the parent coordinator to get my visitation rights back. My question is what are my mom's rights as the grandmother. My ex and new wife said their attorney stated she cannot drop off gifts to them and that she is under the same rules as myself. She has no bad feelings towards them. She is not a threat to them or my children. She just wants to carry on the loving relationship she has had with them since they were born and know she loves them. Should she just abide and continue to write and send gifts until this whole thing is settled, although we know they don't give the kids any of these things or accept our phone calls? I know it will come back on them but I just want to know if anything can be done now? [color:blue] [/color] :confused: [color:blue] [/color]

Visitation rights can be awarded to a grandparent if it's found to in the the children's best interest .

Thank you. I do believe my mother is going to check with my tribe's court system to see how they may be able to assist her.

[color:pink] [/color] take pictures of the items your mom sends to the kids.we made a big mistake amd saned the things we bought the kids until we saw them again .thank goodness we took pictures of what we bought them all the time we did not get to see them.send all your letters cards certified mail .that is proof.if you get to see the kids then so will your mom.noraj

whatever you do tell your mom to be very quiet during the process.talk very polite,as her visitation is at stake here.your mom can file a minute sheet to get visitation do it now.and i mean now.the sooner the better.noraj :)
