AUGUSTA - A "Million Dads March" is being planned for Father's Day in Washington, D.C., and a local Dads March is scheduled a week earlier at each state capitol.

Million Dads March is a nonprofit organization and movement working to increase fathers' involvement in their children's lives.

In Maine, the event will begin at 10 a.m. June 7 at the Capitol building steps in Augusta.
